The Florence club played the final of the Coppa Italia in the mid-1990s. After Inter had been eliminated in the semi-final, Atalanta was encountered in the final. In both the first and the second game against Atalanta, Fiorentina's top striker Gabriel Batistuta scored. He also did this in the two matches against Inter. This number 16 beauty was worn by Italian international Giulio Falcone. The defender came to Fiorentina in 1996 from Torino, where he had won the Coppa Italia. He played three seasons at Fiorentina, winning the Supercoppa Italiana in his first season. He later played for Bologna, Sampdoria and Parma.
