PSV sported this jersey during the final two seasons of the 1990s. In 1999, the Eindhoven club secured third place in the Eredivisie. Leading the goal-scoring charts was striker Ruud van Nistelrooy, who netted an impressive 32goals for the club. The following year, PSV clinched the Dutch championship title, with Van Nistelrooy once again leading the scoring charts with 29 goals, making him the top scorer in the Netherlands for that year.
