In 1997, Porto achieved its first-ever three consecutive league titles, following two consecutive wins under Bobby Robson. This feat was accomplished under the leadership of António Oliveira, who established a strong winning momentum for the club. After these three titles, Porto went on to secure four more in a row. Under the management of Fernando Santos, Porto clinched a fifth consecutive title.
