Ajax wore this shirt in the away game versus amateur side Elinkwijk in the KNVB Cup (1-4 win). Another game they wore this shirt was more remarkable: The awway game versus Real Zaragoza for the semi-final of the Europa Cup II. Ajax won the match with 2-3 and reached the final. In the final, the team of Johan Cruyff won the match versus Lokomotive Leipzig with 1-0.
