In the late 1990s, PSG players were equipped with this Nike Jersey. After beating the great Liverpool in the semi-final, PSG played the final of the European Cup Winners Cup against Barcelona in Rotterdam in 1997. The Parisians were unlucky and lost the match 1-0 through a scored penalty by Ronaldo. Nevertheless, PSG played a good season both in Europe and in France.
Florian Maurice broke through from Lyon's academy and played his first game for thev first team in 1991. After six years at Lyon, he made the move to PSG.
