At the conclusion of the 2001/2002season, Arsenal FC secured their second Premier League title, finishing with 87points and a 7-point lead over Liverpool. This marked their 12th national title in club history. Arsenal's success was largely attributed to an unbeaten run of 21games, which commenced on December 23, 2001.
