One of AS Roma's (and perhaps its greatest) legends is Francesco Totti. The top Italian player rose to become one of the world's greatest footballers in the 1990s. The Roman attacking midfielder has only played for AS Roma in his entire career, in these fifteen years he has played 620 matches in which he scored 250 goals. The Roman was also a regular in the national team with 58 caps to his name. With Roma, he celebrated the Serie A championship in 2001 and winning the Coppa Italiana twice (in 2007 and 2008). The highlight of his career was winning the 2006 World Cup in Germany.
This Shirt was worn by Franscesco Totti in the Serie A match between Venezia and AS Roma on 19 September 1999. Totti fulfilled a big role in this match and helped Roma to the blessing over Venezia. Roma made it 1-0 in the 38th minute via Delvecchio's foot, thanks to an assist from none other than Francesco Totti. Less than 10 minutes later, Totti gave another assist to Delvecchio, giving Roma a comfortable 2-0 lead going into half-time. After about an hour of play, Venezia scored the tying goal, but in the 71 minute it was again Totti who assisted this time his teammate Alenichev. With this, Roma won the match 3-1. Totti was substituted with in the 85 minute, after Roma's number 10 provided 3 assist.
