For the sixth consecutive season, Atalanta sported this jersey as they competed in the top tier of Italian football. The club had consistently secured mid-table positions in the Serie A league standings for several years, except for the unfortunate setback in 1994 when they finished 17th and were relegated to Serie B. However, Atalanta swiftly returned to the top level after just one year.
