Paris FC was founded in 1969 and was already playing at the highest level in France in the early 1970s. In 1979, the club played its last season in the League 1. In 1983, Paris FC merged with Racing Club de France to Racing Club de Paris for only one year. Afterwards, Paris FC was forced to relegate to lower division 4 as amateurs.
