After beating the great Liverpool in the semi-final, PSG played the final of the European Cup Winners Cup against Barcelona in Rotterdam in 1997 in this shirt. The Parisians were unlucky and lost the match 1-0 through a scored penalty by Ronaldo. Nevertheless, PSG played a good season both in Europe and in France.
