The 2009-2010 season was a special one for the club from Brussels. Early one they were knocked out of the Champions League which meant they ended up in the new Europa Leaugue. Unfortunately they didn't make it past round of 16. In the Belgium competition however they secured their 30th title with Romelu Lukaku as their topscorer.
