Since 1996 until now, the South Korean team has played in Nike jerseys. After finishing fourth at the 2002 World Cup in their home country, the South Korean team participated in the 2006 World Cup in Germany, unfortunately they did not get further than the group stage. A year later, however, they did finish third in the Asian Cup.
