US Lecce was formed in 1908 after a merger of Juventus Lecce and Gladiator Lecce. The club made its debut at the highest level in the 1980s and since then has fluctuated between Serie A and Serie B. In this Jersey , the club played its third season at the highest level. In 1999 Lecce took the third place in the Serie B and was promoted to Serie A. The club then played three consecutive seasons in Serie A. This Jersey was worn by defender Ricardo Fissore in a friendly match in pre-season.
