In 1910, Humphreys Brothers Clothing was founded in Wilmslow. In 1924, the name of this brand was changed to Umbro, which was short for Humphreys Brothers. The very first major club to be supplied with Umbro Jerseys was Manchester City in 1934. Arsenal had a partnership with Umbro between 1971 and 1986. In the very first season the Gunners played in Umbro Jerseys, they became National Champions at the highest level for the eighth time. From the early 1980s, the distinctive JVC logo was also depicted on the Arsenal shirt. This jersey is not sponsored, and looks particularly sleek. In addition, the shirt also has a neat stylish collar.
