In the 2010-11 season, AFC Ajax won the Dutch Eredivisie and reached the final of the KNVB cup, which was lost to FC Twente. The 30th national title resulted in the club being allowed to wear a third championship star on its Jersey as of the 2011-12 season. Incidentally, Ajax also became champions of the Netherlands in 2012, 2013 and 2014.
