Ascoli Calcio was founded in Ascoli Piceno in the late 19th century. The club had its heyday in the 1980s, when it played for a long period at the highest level in Italy. This vintage Ascoli sweatshirt follows on from the Le Felpe Dei Grandi Club and Parmalat promotion in 1991. The Italian food company launched a marketing campaign in the early 1990s, where consumers could save points that could eventually be used to get a sweatshirt of their favourite football club. This makes this Ascoli sweatshirt very rare.
