The 1993-1994 season marked a significant moment for the Granata club, as they aimed for promotion after three seasons in Serie C1. Salernitana achieved their promotion goal by winning the play-offs, defeating Lodigiani in the semi-final and Juve Stabia in the final in front of around 40,000 spectators at the Stadio San Paolo. In the Coppa Italia, Salernitana was eliminated in the first round, while in the Coppa Italia, they reached the semi-finals but were stopped by Perugia. Erreà served as the sponsor for the season, while Cassa Rurale Artigiana Salerno (CRAS) was the official sponsor. The home uniform featured a granata jersey with white sleeve edging, black shorts with granata edging, and granata socks, while the away uniform was entirely white with two diagonal granata stripes between the shoulders and chest. Both uniforms featured the square shield.
