Normally we would not show jerseys from this century, but for jerseys of such great players as these, exceptions are made. The Swedish national team started in this jersey at the 2002 World Cup in Japan. The Swedes were in group F with Argentina, England and Nigeria, not exactly the easiest countries to beat. But with two draws against England and Argentina and a win against Nigeria, the Swedes managed to secure the first place in the pool. Legendary striker Zlatan Imbrahimovic was still a youngster in the team. Young Zlatan remained on the bench in the matches against Nigeria and Argentina. But in the match against the English, he was allowed to substitute in the final stages. When the Swedes went up against Senegal in the first Knockout stage, they quickly made it 1-0 thanks to a goal by Larsson, but Henri Camara levelled the score in the 37th minute. Zlatan came in in the 76th minute to decide the match, eventually going in over time. The same Camara made the 2-1 in the 104th minute and eliminated the Swedes. No great glory for the Swedes here, but first appearance at a major final tournament of Sweden's greatest striker ever. Pressed Adidas logo and double layer shirt which is common for the match shirts.
