Cruzeiro EC was founded by Italian immigrants. The club had its absolute highlights in 1976 and 1997 when it won the Copa Libertadores. In the late 1990s the club played in shirts of Penalty, like other Brazilian clubs. Penalty is a Brazilian sports brand from Sao Paolo. One of football's greatest legends started his career at Cruzeiro, namely Ronaldo. In the 93-94 season, he made 34 appearances for the club, scoring 34 goals in it. After this great season, he left for PSV in the Netherlands. The rest is history.
