At VfB Stuttgart, Elber formed a successful trio alongside Fredi Bobic and Krasimir Balakov, earning them the moniker "Magic Triangle". Simultaneously, the striker's performance became increasingly consistent, netting over 10 goals in the league each season and consistently ranking among the top scorers.
