The 1992-1993 season was a challenging one for Celtic F.C. Under the management of Liam Brady, the team competed in the Scottish Premier Division, finishing in 3rd place behind Rangers and Aberdeen. In the Scottish Cup, Celtic reached the 4th round, while in the Scottish League Cup, they made it to the semi-finals. Their UEFA Cup journey ended in the 2nd round. Andy Payton was the team's top goalscorer, netting 13 goals in the league and 15 in all competitions. Despite the ups and downs, the team showed resilience and determination throughout the season. The irony now is that we are all so used to the sponsorship on the Jerseys. Back in 1992-93, due to the incompetency and mismanagement at the club Celtic were left without a sponsor on the strip. The next season, the the same away shirt design was used. This time with the familiar sponsor CR Smith back on the shirt.
