AC Reggiana was founded 104 years ago in the Italian city of Reggio Emilia. In 1993, the club celebrated the championship in Serie B. As a result, the club made its debut in Serie A that year. Reggiana reached a respectable thirteenth place in Serie A and managed to hold on.
