Chievo Verona was founded in 1929 and had its high points after the most recent turn of the century, in which the club debuted in the Serie A and between 2001 and 2019 failed to perform at the highest Italian level for only one season. In 2004, the club managed the fourth spot in the Serie A, after which the club played preliminary rounds of the Champions League. All this while in 2000 the club still had to be content with 15th place in the B series. Playing that season was defender Enrico Franchi, wearing number 13. Francho played at Chievo Verona from 1993 to 2002, making the journey to the top in Verona. He eventually played 130 games in Serie B and 10 matches in the Coppa Italia.
