It is, as always, a tight white jersey with a collar reminiscent of the one used by Nike in its football jerseys today. The English took part in the 2000 European Championship in the Netherlands and Belgium in this jersey. Against all odds they were eliminated together with the Germans in the group stage by Portugal and Romania. The highlight, however, was the win over the Germans, which is always a big celebration in the streets of England. Thanks to a goal from who else than Alan Shearer, the Germans were eliminated at the tournament.
