Despite the fact that the USA is not known as a great football nation, it is the country that took third place at the very first World Cup in 1930. In the early 1980s, the Yanks played in this Adidas Jersey with the famous Ipswich Template. The Americans unfortunately failed to reach the Knock Out stage in a group with hosts Italy and Czechoslovakia. The Americans managed to qualify for the World Cup 1990 since 1950. They have been there at every World Cup except Russia 2018.
