A beautiful classic long-sleeved Jersey from the purple club from Florence. The Jersey everything you want from a classic Jersey, a cool sponsor , a neat collar and a striking pattern. And the latter makes this shirt very special. After a few games, the Jersey was banned from the Serie A because the patrons on the jersey showed swastikas. During this season, Fiorentina welcomed several new players, including German midfielder Stefan Effenberg, forward Francesco Baiano, Danish player Brian Laudrup, defenders Daniele Carnasciali and Gianluca Luppi, and midfielder Fabrizio Di Mauro, with Luigi Radice still at the helm as coach. At the start of Serie A, the Tuscan team was at the top of the standings. By the thirteenth matchday, Fiorentina was in second place behind Milan, tied on points (15) with Inter and Torino. However, after a surprising home defeat to Atalanta (0-1), who emerged as a revelation that season, coach Radice was unexpectedly dismissed by Vittorio Cecchi Gori, paving the way for Aldo Agroppi to take over. After Radice left the team in sixth place, they quickly fell to the bottom of the table, finishing with a disappointing record of three wins, nine draws, and eight losses over the final twenty matches. To salvage the season, former players Luciano Chiarugi and Giancarlo Antognoni were brought in as interim coaches for the last matches. In the final round, Fiorentina achieved a convincing 6-2 victory over Foggia. However, a simultaneous draw between Udinese and Roma (1-1) resulted in Fiorentina's relegation to Serie B after fifty-four years. It was a year filled with high-scoring games, including a 7-3 defeat to AC Milan and victories that were ultimately meaningless in the fight for survival, such as a 7-1 win against Ancona and the aforementioned 6-2 against Foggia. In the Coppa Italia, the team was eliminated in the round of 16 by Roma.
