Hellas Verona’s 1991–92 season ended in disappointment as the club finished 16th in Serie A and suffered relegation after two seasons back in the Italian top flight. Verona struggled for consistency throughout the campaign, winning only a handful of matches and finding goals difficult to come by in a league dominated by defensive strength. Despite fighting until the end and picking up important results against stronger opponents, they could not escape the bottom places. The season marked the end of an era for several experienced players, and relegation forced the club into a rebuilding phase in Serie B.
