In the mid-1990s, Belgrade played in this classic Kappa Jersey. Red Star is historically, a great European club. Especially in the 1970s and 1980s, Red Star Belgrade was a world top. They were crowned in the European Cup I when Red Star, after first beating Bayern Munich in the semi-final, also beat Marseille in the final. This enabled the club to win the Intercontinental Cup the following year from Chile's Colo Colo.
