The 1995/96season was the last in which Johan Cruijff headed the Catalan club. Trainer Johan Cruijff allowed star players such as Ronald Koeman, Romário, Txiki Begiristain and Christo Stoichkov to leave in the summer of 1995and brought Luís Figo and Gheorghe Popescu, among others, to Camp Nou in exchange.
