The 1994–95 season was a transitional period for Inter Milan. They finished 6th in Serie A, showing some improvement in stability but failing to win any trophies. In the Coppa Italia, they reached the quarter-finals, while their UEFA Cup campaign ended in the first round against Aston Villa. This season marked the arrival of Massimo Moratti as the club's new owner in February 1995, signaling a new era. Key players included Rubén Sosa, who was the top scorer, Dennis Bergkamp, and Gianluca Pagliuca, who joined as a record-breaking goalkeeper.
