In 1997, Barcelona took over Brazilian star player Rivaldo from Deportivo La Coruña. In Barcelona, Rivaldo grew into a football greatness. He played almost 160 matches for the Catalan club in which he scored almost 90 times. He became Spanish Champion twice for Barca and also won the UEFA Super Cup and the Copa del Rey. In 2003 he would also win the UEFA Champions League with AC Milan.
