In 1993 to 1994, Abdellah Blinda was the national coach and also took Morocco to the 1994 World Cup in the United States, for the 3rd time Morocco made it to the World Cup finals. Morocco ended up in a Poul with the Netherlands, Belgium and Saudi Arabia. The teams in the poul were evenly matched. The Moroccans unfortunately lost every match narrowly and thus failed to reach the KO Stage.
