Portugal Match-Issued #7 Home Jersey 1990-1992

This number #7 shirt was before the era of legenendary #7 players Figo and Cristiano Ronaldo. Seleção das Quinas played in this beautiful Adidas jersey with number 7 in beautiful adidas print. This shirt was not commercially available at the time so this reveals the shirt is match-issued shirt with the beautiful flock including adidas logo.

 

Unfortunately, the Portuguese never played a major tournament in this jersey. In the qualification for the Euros of 1992, right midfielder Vítor Paneira was a player who wore number 7. This type of home shirt was worn versus Finland (1-0 won) and Greece (3-2 lost) for example. However, different types of flocks were used back then, as for example versus Greece. The first matches and the last matches of the qualification were played in a different home shirt.
