Fiorentina played for 55 years at the highest level when this came to an end in 1993. Fiorentina finished 16th in Serie A and relegated to Serie B. The purple club managed to keep the best players on board, thanks to help from the wealthy Cecchi Gori family. This eventually resulted in Fiorentina becoming champions of Serie B with relative ease and the next season, '94-'95, they finished 10h in the Serie A. The next season they even finished 4th in the league, wearing this beautifull away shirt by Reebok.
We were able to obtain this beautiful matchworn Jersey via the man who got it from Francesco Baiano himself at the stadium. The striker who was also an Italian international played five years for the Florence club during which time he played about 120 matches for Fiorentina. After Fiorentina was relegated in 1993 and promoted the following season thanks to a championship, the club managed to finish fourth in the Serie A in 1996.
