Ajax Amsterdam plays in the season 2021-2022 in these very tight jerseys of Adidas. The German sports brand provides the Amsterdam players since the year 2000 with Jerseys, this cooperation lasts at least until 2025. The home shirt carries the old logo of the Amsterdam club, which was used by Ajax between 1928 and 1991. To give the Jersey an extra classic character, the names of the players are not printed on the Jersey. The Jersey also features a gold Eredivisie Badge, with which the champion plays in the league. The black Jersey is used by Ajax as their third Jersey in 21-22. The Jersey carries the Rastafarian colours, which can be traced back to the connection the Amsterdam club feels with Bob Marley. At every home match, 'three little birds' is played in the Johan Cruyff Arena. Furthermore, there are also three little birds in the three colours at the top of the back of the shirt. However, UEFA has not allowed Ajax to play in European tournaments with the birds on the shirt, because this would be a political expression.
