Unfortunately, the Portuguese never played a major tournament in this Jersey. The number 6 was worn by defensive midfielder Paulo Sousa. Sousa played for Benfica, Juventus, Dortmund and Inter Milan, among others. Between 1991 and 2002 he played 52 matches for the Portuguese national football team. The away shirt was used by the U21 on a Youth Worldcup by Henriques.
